Because she belongs to Jesus Christ (the bridegroom) (vv1-2)
By helping her remain devoted to the Jesus of the New Testament (vv3-11)

By helping her remain devoted to the Jesus of the New Testament (vv3-11)
keeping the message clear (vv3-4)
backing up the message with our lives (vv5-11)
Knowing she has a deceitful enemy, Satan (vv12-15)
