16 - Getting giving right

2 Corinthians 8:10-24 - Tim Smylie

 

1.  Good intentions are good – if they lead to actual giving! (vv10-11a)
   1. - so make a clear and workable plan – then put it into action
2. Our giving is to be in proportion to how God has blessed us (vv11b-12)
3. God intends to meet the needs of his people – through us (vv13-15)
4. Church leaders must take great care to be trustworthy with finances…
   1. and church members should trust their trustworthy leaders with what they give (vv16-24)
